A La Gallarie

It was nice to be close to town, but to enjoy the quiet without all the people. We crossed the road from the B&B and used the bike path as a jumping off point to explore. The rooms and the whole house is spacious. The grounds have lots of places to sit and relax and Diane is super chill about storing bicycles and spending some time there. We checked out the pool and sat on the deck to look at the stars. Breakfast was delicious and it's fun to meet people from all over. On the days we were there, our table mates were from Florida and Quebec. Just awesome. Would book again without hesitation.

A La Gallarie is in a great location on the Niagara Parkway. The grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is lovely and the home is immaculately clean. ||However, have no expectation of privacy as Diane entered our room multiple times during our stay while we were out enjoying the wineries. We were not provided with keys and were unable to lock our door. Frequently we would return and our room door was ajar when we remember closing it completely when we left. ||Do not expect your usual breakfast provided at most B&Bs. It left a lot to be desired. Coffee was not freely available nor were other drinks to accompany the lacklustre breakfast. ||Our room was very warm and it was difficult to sleep. We were not allowed to keep the fan on during the day or keep our curtains open to enjoy the lovely

What could be more special than to treat yourself to a 5-star hotel on the last weekend of your trip? Such a fabulous place to spend a few days in Niagara. The luxurious amenities and stunning views will make your stay unforgettable. Indulge in exquisite dining experiences and relax at the spa, ensuring that your final moments in Niagara are nothing short of perfect. Off the beaten path, we enjoyed a relaxing, quiet few days. The pool was a godsend when the weather turned hot. We intend to come back again.

It's a good location for cycling to the shops and restaurants in Niagara On the Lake, and also the butterfly Conservatory and gardens. The pool is good and the house is beautiful. The bed was hard and uncomfortable with flat pillows, and the bathroom door was quite loud. The breakfasts were very underwhelming... reheated boxed feta rolls and a few pieces of packaged sausage. No juice, no milk for tea. The best part was the fruit bowl. For the price, we expected a better breakfast.

Diane, our host, was old style hospitable and helpful with her great knowledge of the area. Her entire home was open to us. We were allowed to use the fridge to chill our wine and use ice for other drinks. Swimming pool was a wonderful amenity to find at a B&B. Breakfasts were simple but very good. The large bowl of fruit each day was enjoyable. Great older home with old style trim and furniture throughout. Our friends room even had the sink in the main bedroom and toilet and bath in the other room like old country homes. Beds were very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
