La Maison de Sophie B&B

You will enjoy being here. The home is warm and inviting and the breakfasts are top shelf. The hosts are knowledgeable about the area and gave us good advice. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and we were completely happy with our stay. Sophie is an excellent cook and served breakfasts that were very much above the standard. All around, an excellent experience.

We had tickets for a play in Niagara on the Lake, and after reading some reviews decided to book our stay at Le Maison de Sophie. It was an exceptional experience. The property was beautiful, very well kept and decorated with great care. The rooms were spotless! Sophie has taken every measure to ensure guests are comfortable. I couldn’t say enough about the breakfast. The food was outstanding. Fresh fruits, smoked bacon, an amazing cheese soufflé, we were amazed. I will be staying again, and would recommend Le Maison de Sophie to anyone without hesitation!

A perfect B&B in Niagara-on-the-lake! Sophie and Gilles were amazing hosts, they were welcoming and friendly. They gave great recommendations for restaurants downtown and local wineries. The rooms were spacious, clean, secluded, and comfortable. The room had everything you need for a weekend trip. The location is just a few blocks from the downtown area with amazing restaurants and parks on the river/lake. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, Sophie is an amazing chef, it was a wonderful way to start the day! We will be back and have recommended this B&B to others who are looking into future trips.

My wife and I decided on a spontaneous romantic getaway to Niagara on the Lake and found La Maison de Sophie. So happy we chose Sophie and Gilles' bed and breakfast to stay at. The location is fantastic. Couldn't be better really. Literally a five minute walk to shops and restaurants in the historic village and a ten minute drive to just about every winery in the area. The place itself is lovely. Very clean, very comfy and we were made to feel very welcome right from the moment we arrived (despite the fact that we arrived last minute on their day off). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. We chose the king sized bedroom and it felt like a full apartment!
