Anne's Open Door B&B

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Anne’s Open Door. We were greeted by our very gracious hosts Janice and George. We had a tour of the house. Everything was spotless. Our room was clean, spacious, bright and comfortable. Our ensuite was clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful bedding and plenty of pillows. ||We enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast of seasonal peach filled crepes, bacon, oatmeal and a fresh fruit parfait. And of course coffee and tea which we took out to the garden after we finished our meal. Breakfast on day two, was just as delicious - kudos to Chef Janice!

Janice and George were wonderful hosts. Janice had many excellent suggestions for activities and places to eat in the area. She serves a substantial breakfast that is very tasty. I was so happy that the rooms can be set up with two twin beds or a single double bed because it can be challenging to find affordable rooms with twin beds. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom has a whirlpool. Both room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay and will return the next time we visit the area.

I had thoroughly enjoyed by stay at Anne's Open Door Bed & Breakfast. Conveniently located within walking distance to all the shops and attractions on Queen Street, downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, and easy access to the area's Wineries. Room was impeccably clean, comfortable, with en-suite, bar-fridge and mini-kitchenette. Breakfast was perfect, well-sized and tasty. Home-made jam and fresh fruit was excellent. Hosts Janice and George were friendly and very helpful with any questions we had for our itinerary.

We stayed for a week recently and were very comfortable. The room was large, spotlessly clean and private. Our hosts Janice and George were friendly and knowledgeable. Janice served us a substantial, delicious breakfast every morning. We would definitely stay here again next time we find ourselves in NOTL.

Niagara on the Lake has become very expensive with most B and B's requiring two night stays on the weekend. We stayed in the Sunshine King room for two nights at a refreshingly reasonable rate for NOTL.. The room was bright, spotless, comfortable and quiet. Breakfasts were wonderful, artfully prepared and more than adequate. Janice and George are friendly, helpful but also respectful of guests' privacy. The B and B is on the edge of town but the price,comfort, cleanliness and hospitality make the short drive into the downtown core/theatres well worth while. We would stay there again without hesitation. Only two guestrooms and parking is provided.
