Dairy Queen (Treat)

Don’t really come here often, but when I do, the service is great, the treats are great, the establishment is always put together and clean. When I came here earlier today, the floors were tidy and clean, tables looked clean too, the service counter looked tidy and polished! There wasn’t any guests here, so my time spent here was quick, from when I first arrived to me purchasing my ice cream and leaving, it was roughly 5ish minutes. Service itself was quick! The worker who was working and took my order, he was friendly and kind, seemed to know what he was doing. If you’re looking for parking, there is paid street parking right outside the place - There is also free street parking if you know where to find it! There is also a rolling ramp to get into the establishment, with loads of room

Listen, the service was really really great and the blizzard was as good as always. But guys, this is NOTL! There is absolutely 0 character to this shop, it's bland ambience is sad in contrast to the town it thinks it can fit in with. Even Tim's on Clifton Hill makes an effort to have some style! Please, before you send the bar to a new low for NOTL, walk around town into some of the best shops, then hire someone who doesn't work for DQ corperate to flip your space into something decently complimentary. When that happens, you'll get 5 stars from me.

Pre-ordered and pre-paid for a DQ blizzard chocolate cake and when we arrived none was to be found at your store. Your staff was very helpful in trying too appease us, offering different options but when you expect a certain product it's difficult excepting something else. Unfortunately we were expected at the party with a DQ cake so we relented and choose another. Too our delight it was delicious. Your ordering system needs a clean-up.

I’m deeply disappointed by the treatment my friends and I received at this branch. Caught in a heavy rain, we stepped inside to seek brief shelter, only to be met with unwelcoming behavior. The staff member made it clear we weren’t welcome, instructing her colleague to sweep around us as if our presence was an inconvenience. We had just purchased ice cream from a nearby shop, yet still, we were treated differently — and frankly, with disrespect. I expected basic decency, not to be singled out in such a dismissive manner.

After indulging in the creamy delights of gelato next door, I popped into Dairy Queen (Treat) in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the famous chain partly owned by Warren Buffett. It’s clear Buffett keeps this sweet spot around more for the message than massive profits — a testament to classic treats with nostalgic charm. The soft-serve here hits the spot perfectly after a rich gelato, offering that simple, comforting taste you can’t beat. It’s less about innovation and more about pure, reliable indulgence. A fun stop to keep the dessert adventure going and to say you’ve tasted the iconic DQ magic in the heart of Niagara.
