10 stars!! Food was so delicious!! Locals told us about Jackie’s Brickhouse Eatery being the go-to for locals, bragging about her food. My hubby ordered the Sausage gravy chicken fried steak that I almost stole from him because it’s the best Sausage gravy I’ve ever had! The pancakes were huge, and so delicious. We’re going back in the morning so I can order the Sausage gravy and biscuit and have it all to myself! Jackie, the owner, is a famous LA Reporter, was there working, greeting her customers and so pleasant to talk to. She even makes her famous French crapes on Sunday’s! I can’t say enough about this unique dining establishment. If you’re even in Monticello, you should stop in to meet Ms. Jackie and enjoy her delicious food.
Have experienced Jackie's BrickHouse Eatery to be a popular family restaurant in Monticello, Florida, known for its lively atmosphere, friendly owner Jackie (pictured), and delicious American breakfast dishes like French Toast, biscuits and gravy, homemade crepes with fresh fruit, and omelets. Lunch includes sandwiches and fried green tomatoes. It's praised for its fresh ingredients, homemade sauces, and welcoming environment, making it a local favorite for a casual meal with a personal touch. I experienced the Sunrise Breakfast (pictured) and my friend had what she described as the best Fench Toast (pictured) she has had in a while.
On Sunday our family enjoyed brunch at Jackie’s Brick House Eatery in Monticello, Florida, after being in the area for a wedding. They were busy, but we were greeted warmly and given the option of being seated at two small tables close to each other, which suited us just fine. The atmosphere was upbeat and the employees were very attentive. There were seven of us which gave us the opportunity to try several of the delicious options on the menu. We tried Western Omelettes, a Philly Omelette, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, biscuits with gravy, pancakes, and crepes. Every plate came out exactly as ordered, the portions were generous, and the quality was excellent. Our coffees were kept full and hot. The staff is amazing and we left feeling like family. If I have the opportunity to travel
