Williams Gate Bed and Breakfast Private Suites

My husband and I booked an impromptu trip to Niagara on the Lake. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great but Anca's home was warm and inviting. We stayed on the second floor. As another review mentioned, the stairs to this floor are quite narrow, just an FYI. The house is about a 10 minute walk to Queen Street - stores, restaurants, etc...|Anca is such a lovely host and her breakfasts were quite delicious. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Williams Gate Bed and Breakfast. Our spacious upstairs suite was very well equipped and homey. Our host, Anca, was super friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts we had on both mornings were amazing. It is worth noting that if you have issues with stairs (as I do) you may find the stairs to the upstairs suite quite challenging. Parking is free onsite, but it might be a little tight depending on your vehicle size. And while the location is very good, the 10 or so minute walk to the beautiful Queen Street shops and restaurants felt long in the peak of the heat and humidity. Staying in Historic Old Town is definitely recommended, and Williams Gate is a wonderful, affordable accommodation.

This was our second stay at Williamsgate and it was just as lovely as our first. Anca is a wonderful host; the accommodation is cosy and comfortable, and the place feels like a home away from home. Breakfast is always delicious and freshly made. It’s a perfect location — just a 10-minute walk from NOTL’s main drag, in a quiet neighborhood. We can’t recommend it enough!

Williams Gate Bed and Breakfast was the perfect home away from home allowing us to enjoy a great few days in Niagara on the Lake. Restaurants, shopping and theaters were within walking or biking distance. Very spacious and well appointed ,our suite was as comfortable and clean as it could be. Our host Anca Buture was so helpful throughout our stay and served a wonderful breakfast in our suite every morning. She was also knowlegeable about the theater scene and was able to offer advise about biking trails too. We will definitely plan a return visit to Williams Gate.

Anca was a fantastic host. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect for our three night stay - so welcoming and comfortable, spotless and nicely configured for two couples. Many many thoughtful touches.
