If you stop anywhere - make it be here. This ✨️ was one of the best meals I have had out in months. The Ribs were the best I have ever had. I ordered a full rack to go after our meal. I had Garlic Roasted Potatoes as my side choice. They were seasoned to perfection! I never eat slaw but I had to taste everything. Crunchy not wet- this slaw made a slaw lover out of me. The macaroni salad, banana pudding with meringue topping and coconut milkshake were icing on my meal. The caliber of food and the balance between seasonings will draw me always to come out of the way to feast at this peaceful hideaway! Dont come in a rush but definitely come hungry.

Pollywhogs is a quaint, rustic, and casual restaurant featuring a home cooking style menu. This is a dine outside or take-out restaurant, with a spacious covered dining area overlooking a private, wooded back yard. The food is pretty good overall. Of course, no restaurant can hit it out of the park with every offering. I've had the BBQ pork sandwich which was a good portion and quite tasty. The deviled crab was ok but had too little crab and too much devil. The chicken and dumplings was good, heavy on the dumplings, quite thick and a bit light on chicken. The chicken and dumplings come with cranberry sauce and I had visions of homemade cranberry sauce only to receive a blob of canned sauce, ribbed can pattern included. We found our new favorite restaurant. Brian was super nice and easy to talk with… He truly has culinary skills and puts it to great use, we enjoyed all the delicious ingredients as they were bursting with flavor. The burgers and spicy chicken sandwich were amazing and the red potatoes with onions and garlic were to die for! We can’t hardly wait to try the rest of the menu.

Best food and service in Eastpoint!! Every single thing we ordered was so good. The bbq and wings were not dry at all and had great flavor. His homemade pickles are delicious. So delicious that we had to get an extra order. I literally can’t say enough good things about Pollywhogs! Can’t wait to come back on our next visit.
