Shaw Cafe & Wine Bar

The patio here is absolutely gorgeous — flowers, sunshine, and a prime spot right in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Honestly, it’s worth visiting just to soak up the atmosphere and watch the world go by. The food was fine, nothing bad at all, just not as memorable as some of the other local spots. Same with the service — friendly but a bit slow, though it could’ve just been the timing we went. If you’re looking for a place where the patio is the main course and everything else is the side dish, Shaw Café fits the bill perfectly.

We visited a couple of days ago. We sat in the outdoor terrace which was perfect. Our server was excellent. My wife and I shared the charcuterie board which was decent. We only wish it was paired with cheese. That was our only disappointment. The ice wine flight was delicious. If you've never tried it before, it's fantastic, and very few parts of the world can produce it and 85% of that comes from the Niagara region. The atmosphere with the flowers, the historical main street, the European feel, the sun, it all feels magical. It's just a perfect experience. If you're ever visiting the area, this place will be hard to miss.

Beautiful spot with great atmosphere and good service. We ordered the charcuterie and cheese board with wine—food was okay, nothing mind-blowing, but still enjoyable. The setting definitely made the experience special. Would come back for the vibe and wine alone - which we did actually 🤗

Warm atmosphere, particularly sitting outside. Service is very welcoming and energetic. Food is tasty and hot. We have enjoyed a good meal here.

One of the best meals we have had. Fresh flavorful delicious. Just the right portion sizes. Will have to admit it was a little pricey, but so worth it.
