The Red Coat B & B

We had a wonderful time at the Red Coat B&B. The owners are just lovely and helpful, the house is beautifully maintained and decorated, our room was fantastic, and breakfasts were delicious and fun. It is located in a residential area so if you have places to go, a car is essential. Niagara Falls is not too far away, and the town of Niagara on the Lake is very upmarket and filled with great shops and restaurants. The town of Niagara Falls is a total tourist outpost - flashy and well, touristy! Other guests who were here when we were brought bikes - there are safe and doable bike trails that enable you to view the quite remarkable vistas. We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful little B&B! Location was perfect for all our activities planned for our weekend away. The breakfasts in the morning were tasty and the coffee was great. Keith and Sandra were wonderful to talk to and very knowledgeable about the best restaurants, trails, and golf courses in the area. The room we booked was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on our own private balcony! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Sandra and Keith are amazing hosts. From the moment you arrive they make you feel welcomed. The room was very comfortable. We stayed in the Sheaffe Loft. The breakfasts are delicious. The location is great for visiting the local wineries and Niagara on the Lake. We will definitely be back.

We've stayed at the Red Coat twice now and have been equally happy both times. Sandra genuinely enjoys her work and went out of her way to take care of our needs. She prepares an excellent breakfast, the rooms are well-appointed and the old house has been carefully restored. We enjoy exploring the historic hamlet of Queenstown and the Queenstown Heights National Historic Site. We are looking forward to returning, Sandra, and sitting on the front porch with our morning coffee!

My husband and I stayed over for our anniversary. We highly recommend! Sandra and Keith were so welcoming and the breakfast Sandra served us was excellent. The place was beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was so comfortable and was stocked with many amenities which reflected the thoughtfulness of the hosts. We enjoyed walking around the historic Queenston neighborhood and appreciated the guidance that the hosts gave us about the area. Being outside of NOTL proper was actually a benefit. If you are in the area, please consider staying at the Red Coat and tell the hosts we said hello!
