The Waterfront Restaurant & Lounge

This restaurant had a lovely ambiance, attentive server and great food at reasonable prices. The servings were very generous! The menu was varied between classics and some unusual items, and the wine list was extensive. The lake was visible from almost all tables.

This restaurant is a cherished spot among locals, and it's easy to understand why. Upon stepping in, you're welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere similar to a country club lodge, enhanced by stunning ocean views. The staff are friendly, and the food offers comforting, homemade flavours reminiscent of Auntie’s recipes. While not Michelin-level foods, the dishes are genuine and satisfying. There was a slight concern when the pork was ever so slightly pink inside, but I decided not to make a fuss and ate it anyway, though I was feeling a bit under the weather the next day. Despite that rare hiccup, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and enjoy what this charming place has to offer.

The food, the ambiance and the service was superb 👌 Seating outside is very pleasant during summer days. The menu has 4 vegetarian options and we tried three of them and they were great: margherita pizza, Hummus plate and a salad with goat cheese. The menu also have a vegetarian lasagna. The local wine was very good as well. The server, Melanie was friendly and attentive. A highly recommended restaurant to chill, eat and enjoy the lake.

Situated on a stunning point where the Niagara River flows into Lake Ontario. Historic Forts guard each side of the river entrance. The lake is beautiful and on a clear day you can see the high rises of Toronto 30 miles across the lake. My wife had the lobster 🦞 roll and I had the prime rib dip. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. Our server Melanie was cute, friendly and very attentive. Overall the best dining experience we’ve had in NOTL!

The google reviews are mixed. We had a positive experience. We ordered the trout and vegetable lasagna. Both were very good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I think it’s the only place to eat in NOTL with a beautiful water view. We ate outside on the patio. It was a gorgeous afternoon.
