We visit Niagara on the lake every year about this time and chose to stay in this cottage because our usual place was booked. We were looking for a location that allowed us to walk into town, had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a sitting area, and some outdoor space. This cottage met all of those criteria. Additionally, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. For these reasons I am giving it a “3”.||While we enjoyed our stay in NOTL, we will not stay here again. If you are considering this cottage, I suggest you read the reviews on Tripadvisor carefully before making your decision. We had not. While some of them made us laugh out loud, the points made are true. We did not cook in the cottage but only used the refrigerator and coffee pot which both worked fine. If you were plan

A not-so-charming experience in a charming town. Booked this place from internet pix. We are global travellers and the booking process for a monthly rental (in our home province & paid in advance) seemed bizarrely complicated. The good things about the place - great location, decent bed, good linens, 2 baths and a working fridge. Adequately clean on check-in though check in was about 5 hours after promised time. Crammed with too much big old furniture and knickknacks. Not a comfortable place to sit in the living room. There was a smart TV but no one knew how to log in for us to use our own provider. Internet service throttled down frequently. Since it was paid in advance and we were out and about much and we had paid in advance, we just called it funky and carried on. Until the mice and th

The cottage is five blocks (12 minutes) from Queen Street on a minor collector. Walking is easy. It is an older house with some minor restoration still needed. The staff is friendly and promptly accommodating. Amenities are as advertised. The kitchen is comfortable and well supplied. The cooktop is restricted down to two electric burners. The cottage is a comfortable place to spend evenings and downtime. As the weather was quite warm, we had little opportunity to enjoy the garden. If the opportunity presents, we will return.

A great place to stay! It beats a lot of the big chain hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Coordination was seamless for check-in and check-out. The moment we got there our host Chris had a thorough introduction to the place, told us where to get our refreshments, where the keys are, where to go around Niagara-on-the-lake etc. The location is less than 5 minutes away from the town area of NOTL. The room was comfortable, warm and cozy. The bed was definitely one of the highlights, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

First the good part. This small cottage was clean, and had many small extras in their decoration that made it attractive.||||Unfortunately, there were many short comings. The back door is permanently locked shut, making the unit a potential fire trap. The cottage was described as having a barbecue, and yes, there was one. Unfortunately, it was not functional. Our arrival tour was conducted over the phone with ?? The rental agency. During this introductory "tour", we pointed out that the ice maker in the fridge was not working. Their phone reply was that we could buy ice at the local store. We were told the day before our arrival that our check in would be between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. When we asked for a 4:00 pm check in, and was told that this was out of the question. They had had a ver
